|This simple-to-use but powerful and comprehensive online resource is designed to help ensure that you have the solid foundations on which to build an ‘Outstanding’ service. It will also help you maintain total management oversight across all five CQC domains.|
Although an increasing number of service providers can see the benefits of using a quality assurance (QA) system based on gathering evidence for the CQC’s domains and key lines of enquiry (KLOEs), it is often hard to know what counts as ‘evidence’ in the first place. And it is especially difficult to work out what would be evidence for ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’. Furthermore, having gathered all the relevant evidence, it may not be immediately obvious how best to interpret and report it in a meaningful way.
The aim of the KLOE Audit Toolkit is to guide you through the whole KLOE audit process with a focus on finding evidence for ‘Good’ (the CQC’s benchmark for quality). Having such ‘Good’ solid foundations provides you with a firm base on which to develop an ‘Outstanding’ service. It also means that you can quickly identity areas where there may be need for improvement. In addition, the resources in the Toolkit can provide a cost-effective alternative to more ‘traditional’ face-to-face QA training or expensive ‘mock inspections’.
Please note: you will need to register for the KLOE Audit Toolkit before you can use any of its content.
